It’s part of their limited edition lineup, so its availability is unknown at the time of writing; however, it can be found in both cans and on draught across Japan. Two Rabbits Fruit Salad poured out a hazy orange colour, with a thin white head on top that faded fast to leave a few bubbles around the outside of the glass. With its name, Two Rabbits Fruit Salad led to believe it was going to be a mass explosion in the nose of aroma, but it wasn’t. That’s not meant in anyway to sound bad, as it was fruity for sure, with citrus and tropical fruits being present, but I was honestly expecting some bang. In the end, I was happy that there was a mixture of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple,, mango, and some peach aromas going on. In terms of malts, Two Rabbits Fruit Salad wasn’t overly punchy with the malts, instead letting the hops shine through.
The initial bite to Two Rabbits Fruit Salad was good as it led to an interesting flavour profile going in – a subtle bitterness that was compounded with a fruity sweetness against it. The fruits were pretty much the same as in the nose – lots of citrus and tropical going on – though the malts, once again, were left bringing up the rear. The hoppy flavours lingered through into the aftertaste too.
