Kujukuri Ocean Fruit Mix Smoothie : Aroma & Taste
Kujukuri Ocean Fruit Mix Smoothie poured out, well, nothing like a beer. It was deep orange-reddish colour with barely any head on it. By the time I had taken the camera out to take a picture, the head had gone completely – not even a semblance remained on the side of the glass. Instead, all I got was pure fruit aroma – so much mango and peach going on that I could not honestly describe Kujukuri Ocean Fruit Mix Smoothie as a beer – but then there was some citrus aromas going on from the hops.
The body was thick – like a smoothie, but then that is the style of the beer and I have not knowingly had one before. It felt like I was sucking down a fruit juice with the pulp that had not been removed from the press. The flavour was 99% fruit – the mango and peach really just dominating over everything else in the mix though there was a hint of lemon in the beer. Not much, but enough to come through when warmed up. Those fruity flavours lingered through drinking, right into the aftertaste.
